Top 5 Hair colors for winter

It seems as the season gets colder and darker, so does our color palettes. This couldn’t be more true with hair colors! Here is a list of the top 5 hair colors for winter:

5. Aubergine

It goes by many different names, eggplant, maroon, burgundy, whatever you like to call it, we can all agree it is one sexy hair color. With its deliciously dark tones there’s no way any woman wouldn’t feel confident with this hair color.

4. Platinum blonde

Marilyn Monroe, Gwenyth Paltrow, Heidi Klum, just to name a few are some of the sexiest women to have rocked this hair color. Many have tried and failed (miserably) but with the right hair stylist and look, you can totally pull off platinum blonde without looking aged or tacky. Platinum blonde looks amazing any season, its great for a summer look and looks phenomenal against winter tones and colors.

3. Red

Emma Stone is just one of the many gorgeous redheads we all envy with their sultry and fiery locks. I’m going to let you in on a little secret, Emma wasn’t born a natural redhead and the same goes for a lot of Hollywood’s sexiest gingers. Red hair is one of the most sought after hair colors, with its beautiful warm tones and eye catching brightness. So if you’re looking to get out of your boring hair color rut, give red a try!

2. Jet black

Once you go black, you never go back.. black hair, I mean! There is just something about dark black hair that goes hand in hand with winter, like a perfect matrimony. Jet black hair gives you an edge and little bit of danger and just screams sexy. So if you’ve never tried it or you’re just getting bored with your hair color, try going darker to add a little edge to your look.

1. Ombre

So nice, I had to show it twice! Ombre hair is the new trendy look that started coming on to the scene about a year ago. Ombre hair can come in different shades, some like more of a darker brown blending into a lighter brown and some like a light brown going into a blonde, either way it looks ultra chic! Ombre hair isn’t just a summer look, its definitely subtle enough to pull off in winter and won’t clash with your winter wardrobe.

So there you have it, the most fabulous hair colors to try out for this winter season. When it comes to dying your hair always seek a professional’s help and advice for what color is right for you, trust me you’ll be happy you did!

With love,

E & I
